Privacy Policy
Last Updated: July 6, 2026
Bondar Legal P.C. ("the Firm," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information when you visit bondarlegal.com (the "Site"), contact us, or communicate with us by phone, email, or text message.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide. When you submit a contact or consultation form, call, email, or text us, we collect your name, email address, telephone number, and the contents of your message. When you submit a form, we also automatically record technical metadata associated with that submission — including your IP address, the approximate geographic location derived from it, the date and time, and your browser and device type. We use this submission metadata to respond to you, to help verify and document your consent (including any consent to receive text messages), and to detect and prevent fraudulent, abusive, or automated submissions.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we also collect limited technical information when you browse the Site, such as IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, and referring pages, through server logs, cookies, or similar technologies. We use this information to operate, secure, and improve the Site and for analytics.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To respond to your inquiries and consultation requests;
- To send you the Firm's own newsletters and updates that may be of interest to you, from which you may opt out at any time;
- To communicate with you about your matter or potential engagement, including by phone, email, or — with your consent — text message;
- To operate, secure, and improve the Site;
- To comply with legal, regulatory, and professional obligations.
3. SMS / Text Messaging
If you provide your mobile phone number and consent to receive text messages from the Firm, we may send you text messages related to your inquiry, consultation scheduling, and matter-related communications.
- Consent. By opting in, you consent to receive text messages from Bondar Legal P.C. at the number you provide. Consent is not a condition of becoming a client or purchasing any services.
- Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
- Opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at inquiry@bondarlegal.com or (845) 200-3992.
- Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All categories of information described in this Privacy Policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; that information will not be shared with any third parties.
4. Disclosure of Your Information
We may share information we have collected about you in certain situations:
- With Service Providers: We may share your information with third-party vendors, service providers, contractors, or agents who perform services for us or on our behalf. This includes service providers for email delivery (newsletters), communication platforms (such as Zoom), and website hosting. These third parties are obligated to protect your information and may only use it to perform these specific services.
- By Law or to Protect Rights: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary to (a) comply with a legal obligation, (b) protect and defend the rights or property of the Firm, or (c) act in urgent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of the Site or the public.
- No Sale of Personal Information: We do not, and will not, sell your personal information to any third party.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes, and text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will never be shared with any third party.
5. Cookies & Analytics
We use website analytics to understand how visitors use the Site so that we can improve it. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-first service that collects aggregate statistics (such as page views and referrers) without cookies, and Google Analytics 4, a service provided by Google that helps us understand Site usage — such as pages viewed, approximate location derived from your IP address, and device and browser type. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies and processes this information on our behalf, and Google may also use the data in accordance with its own policies. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not sell your information. Essential cookies or similar technologies may be used only where strictly necessary for security and site functionality.
Your choices. You can opt out of Google Analytics on this website with a single click using the button below — your choice is saved in this browser. You can also opt out across all websites with Google's opt-out browser add-on, manage or block cookies in your browser settings, and learn more in Google's Privacy Policy.
6. Data Security
We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. Please do not send confidential, sensitive, or time-sensitive information through the Site's contact form.
7. Data Retention
We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy and to satisfy our legal and professional obligations, including New York and New Jersey rules governing lawyer recordkeeping.
8. Children's Privacy
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Your Choices
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you, subject to our legal and professional retention obligations, by contacting us at inquiry@bondarlegal.com. You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP.
10. Third-Party Sites
The Site may link to third-party websites (for example, our client portal). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party sites, and this Policy does not apply to them.
11. No Attorney–Client Relationship
Submitting information through the Site or communicating with the Firm does not create an attorney–client relationship. Information submitted before an engagement is established will not be treated as privileged or confidential.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post any changes on this page and update the "Last Updated" date. If the changes are significant, we will provide a more prominent notice. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
